Background

About Me

I'm a transportation data scientist and GIS analytics leader with 8+ years of experience building enterprise data platforms, spatial analytics workflows, and decision-support systems across transit operations and regional planning.

At the Atlanta Regional Commission, I serve as Principal Data Analyst — leading enterprise analytics for a 21-county metropolitan region and serving as ARC's primary emissions modeler using the EPA MOVES model. My work spans Activity-Based Model modernization, traffic-volume forecasting, large-scale ETL, and full-stack analytics platforms used by regional transportation planners.

My flagship project, ABMVIZ, is a production dashboard that transforms millions of Activity-Based Model records across six forecast horizon years into 13 interactive visualization modules — publicly deployed and accessible to transportation planners.

Prior to ARC, I delivered operational analytics and transit BI solutions at HNTB and MARTA, supporting transit operations, asset management, and service reliability across Atlanta's transit network.

I hold a Master of Science in Analytics from Georgia Institute of Technology and a Master of Urban Planning from Texas A&M University, where I received the APA Outstanding Student Award. I'm based in Marietta, GA and open to Atlanta-based and remote opportunities.

Georgia Tech — MS Analytics

🐝 Georgia Tech OMS Analytics · Class of 2026

Georgia Tech's Master of Science in Analytics (OMS Analytics) is an interdisciplinary analytics degree jointly offered by the College of Computing, College of Engineering, and Scheller College of Business.

The program covers machine learning and AI, statistical modeling, data storage and pipelining, data visualization, optimization and simulation, and business analytics — spanning 36 credit hours across a rigorous interdisciplinary curriculum.

My Applied Analytics Practicum (ISYE 6748) was completed at the Atlanta Regional Commission, producing the ABMVIZ dashboard — a production analytics platform used by ARC's transportation planning division.

Completing this degree while working full-time as Principal Data Analyst at ARC required applying coursework directly to real transportation planning problems — bridging theory and production deployment in a way few purely academic programs can replicate.
